Delta Magic highlights the “magic” of the Delta by spearheading collaborative initiatives and connecting resources that build local capacity, challenge negative narratives, and foster community pride.

Delta Magic was founded in 2022 as a 501c3 non-profit by Drew Smith and Harvey Williams to build up the capacity of the Delta. Drew and Harvey believe that there are enough people doing good work in the Delta every day to create a more vibrant, inclusive, and resilient economy. At the same time, they know that much of the work that happens in the community lives in silos, resulting in resources and good news remaining close to their sources. Delta Magic highlights the good work happening while connecting people and resources so that the negative narratives can be challenged and the people with resources can reach the people who need resources.
